Edmunds Street Townhouses

Edmunds Street Townhouses is an urban infill project in the Columbia City neighborhood of Seattle. A neighborhood in the midst of transition, over the last several years popular restaurants, retail establishments along with a successful Farmer's Market have solidified the neighborhood's vitality. This project utilizes a prominent but rather steep corner lot with an existing single-family residence by under developing the site. The sites zoning allows for 8 dwelling units but by developing only 5 units each unit is able to own the parcel of land it sits on as a "zero-lot-line" residence. Each townhouse also has it's own dedicated entry with a porch facing the street creating a more engaged presence in the neighborhood. In addition, three of the units parking garages are accessed off the alley minimizing vehicular impacts and maximizing pedestrian comfort and safety.
