The owners bought this modest house with the intent of adding on to it before ever moving in. The existing house was a two bedroom, one bath, 900 square foot residence. The new house will be three bedrooms with a den and two and a half baths totaling just over 2500 square feet in two-stories. The owners wanted to take advantage of the views to the East and South of Lake Washington and Mount Rainier. This was the driving force behind locating the master suite at the front of the house on the upper level which accesses a generous covered porch for near year round enjoyment. The house was also opened up to the South on the main floor with a wrap around deck at the kitchen and nook.
